Our May Queen & her Maids of Honour lead the procession on May Day as well as supporting and attending events throughout the following year. Traditionally the May Queen has been known to ride side saddle on horse back, however in more recent years we have used a horse and carriage to lead our Queen and her Maids of Honour through the streets of Gawthorpe and Ossett.
