1.1 Gawthorpe Maypole Committee agrees to reserve you a place in the Event (Gawthorpe World Coal Carrying Championships), on payment of the Entry Fee. The payment of the Event Participation Fee marks the conclusion of your commitment to participate in the Event and to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

1.3 The right to participate in the Event will also be granted by Gawthorpe Maypole Committee when Gawthorpe Maypole Committee provides you with your race items, consisting of t-shirt, goody bag and certificate of participation, which will only be provided to you on the day of the Event.
