Your entry to the event includes agreement that your name, gender and age category will be included in the published results.

Declaration (all contestants)

I confirm that I am taking part in this event entirely at my own risk and that l am medically fit and will inform the organisers of any medical condition which may affect my participation in this event. I accept all the conditions of entry and acknowledge that the organisers shall not be liable for death, personal injury or loss or damage as a consequence of my participation in the event except with regard to personal injury that is caused by the organiser’s negligence.

I understand the organisers reserve the right to alter the arrangements and conditions including the event route and start time should circumstances require.

We have professional photography and filmers join us at the event. By participating in the Coal Race you are giving Gawthorpe Maypole Committee your consent to use your image for marketing, publicity and advertising for the event unless otherwise stated.

I agree to be bound by The 2021 UK Anti-Doping Rules (Anti-Doping Rules) and to submit to the authority of United Kingdom Anti-Doping Limited (UKAD) in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules. In entering the event, I agree that I am not currently banned from competing in any sport and agree that I will be disqualified if I am later found to have been banned or otherwise violated the Anti-Doping Rules at the time of the event.
